Sustainable Design in Our Community

Socially engaged art (SEA) is an art form that encourages me to participate in SEA events to help support common goals, raise awareness, and inspire audiences to discuss current issues. SEA helps many participants feel better and improves physical or psychological conditions, since it can develop a way to solve social problems as it gives artists and participants the opportunity to share their thoughts through art. In public art, SEA has evolved more broadly into becoming a general interest socially and a tool for community collaboration. It can create relationships within the community since it uses a social medium within the project, which aims to raise awareness or solve social debates through social exchanges within a community. SEA has also been proven to push social and political change. It has also changed how art is defined, not only looking at aesthetics but becoming a discipline within the social sphere that encapsulates the practices of our social conditions. It can also be seen through art in sustainable design, in which the environment is used as the subject to display or demonstrate community-based projects. Sustainable design in SEA projects helps other artists express their practices using our natural environment. It raises awareness to apply these sustainable design initiatives as an expanded boundary of art and our natural environmentalism. Using high technology proven to be safe in our eco-friendly community puts our sustainable environment as our priority in our growing ecology movement.
